Conference/Workshop Planning and Support

Conference planning and support services can be provided either as technical assistance to complement the efforts of the host organisation, or as a complete event planning and management package comprising the following elements:

  • Planning, coordination, and provision of secretariat services (e.g. rapporteurs);
  • Preparation of background documents/working papers; and
  • Preparation of workshop/conference proceedings/report.

An example of complete event planning is:

Seminar/Workshop on Physical Planning and Sustainable Development, Port Antonio, Jamaica (1994).  In addition to organising the workshop and preparing the final report, principals of Ecotech Inc. Limited functioned as researcher and chief rapporteur.
